Previous featured links will be saved on the links page of this site. Having said that, let's get into this weeks links!
1. I got a buzzcut this week for the first time in my life! I went to a barber to get mine done but I plan on taking care of it myself. I got a pair of clippers and a trimmer from a store reccomdended by my barber, and today I tried trimming it for the first time (not that it really needed it at this point). She was so excited because I came in with fairly long hair, just over shoulder length, and she said she'd always wanted to buzz someone with long hair. I was also excited becaue I've never gotten my hair this short before! I've had quite short pixies, but never buzzed it. But seeing as I am moving out soon, I decided now is the time if I want to do it. Anyways, this link is here for anyone who wants a tutorial on how to give and maintain your own buzzcut at home. I haven't looked at wikihow articles in forever but after watching videos and reading other tutorials, this was actually the most detailed and helpful explanation I found.
2. My mom and I went to a floral arrangment class this week and came home with some beautiful bouquets. If you are at all interested in learning to make floral arrangements or want to make a chop n' drop bouquet from the store a little more interestng, then this article is for you!
3. I started listening to Wolf-359 this week! Completely accidentally, I started August 16th, the day after its 11th anniverssary. It has 61 episodes and I am almost done with the first season of four. It's about the crew of the Hepheastus, a space station orbiting the star Wolf-359, and the shenanagins they get up to. There are (ostensibly) 3 people aboard, along with their AI mother system, Hera. As much as I dislike AI these days, this was written 11 years ago and ended in 2017 so... Hera is a lot better than Chat-GPT or the like, at least so far. The second episode, Communications officer Doug Eiffel steals their last tube of toothpaste and you can imagine the chaos that follows when the two other people realize they may not be able to brush their teeth for the next 200+ days. You could imagine it, or you could just listen to the podcast ;)
Also there is a new featured bird! He is my son, my baby, my child, the American Timberdoodle. Have you ever seena more derpy looking bird? I cannot claim any bird as my "favorite" however this is maybe the closest I've come. One of my drawings of the timberdoodle links to a scratch presentation I made on them. They also have a million nicknames, my favorite ofc being timberdoodle, because their actual name is the American Woodcock and I guess people don't think that's very nice to say all the time. I do think all of their nicknames would make such a good superhero band though. The Timberdoodle, Bogsucker, Mud Snipe, Labrador Twister, Brush Snipe, Big-eye, Hokumpoke, Mud Bat and of course the Night Partridge.

I fear I need to stop adding images to my website because I am already using over half of the free space. I am planning on becoming a supporter once that happens but aaaaaaa so soon!

Hello! I spent this morning drinking tea with my parents and cousin and then my cat sat on my lap for a while, so over all 10/10 morning experience. My mom and I found these little packets of brie cheese at the store and we got some to have with toast and it was sooo good, highly reccomend if you like soft cheeses or have ever had baked brie. Post cat hang out time, I went back into my room and alternated between juggling and reading fanfic for a bit while listening to music. A friend's coming over to go swimming later today, I haven't seen him in months so it should be fun to catch up.
No AI art will ever be on this site.
